 Industrial internet of things (IIoT) is referred to interconnected devices like sensors, instruments, and other smart devices networked together with computers, industrial applications, including manufacturing and energy management.

Use of IIOT allows data collection, exchange, and analysis and facilitates improvements or progress in productivity and efficiency as well as other economic benefits of a particular industry.

Basically IIOT is a part of industry 4.0 evolution .
